Building dreams on the green screen

Turning dreams into reality is one of our specialties, and our capabilities go above and beyond of still 3-D renderings, which are just the beginning of a whole ArX Solutions experience.

We want to introduce you to our short films, which are  a great tool to tell our clients’ potential buyers the story of the space they are looking to purchase. Just watch this amazing film we produced with DCode Films for Muse:

“These films are produced just like any other action Hollywood movie, in which there are actors, make-up artists, directors, and in some cases, like this one we did for Muse, even a robot that filmed the different scenes and sent the information to our 3-D files,” said Gonzalo Navarro, Principal of the ArX Solutions Miami office.

Like in any other movie that uses a green screen, our process is very similar. We start our pre-production with a storyboard, hold castings, perform make-up and wardrobe trials.

In these productions there are at least 20 people involved the day of the shooting, so there is a lot to accomplish before selecting a date for the use of a studio.

“After our shooting day, we go back to our office and start rendering the images according to the lighting set in the studio,” explained Navarro.

“Movies like Star Wars or Avatar are filmed in the same way, we cut the green screen and paste the actors as if they had always been in the same file.”

10 Sullivan

Every new project we do is as exciting as the last one, with different challenges and solutions to propose to our clients.

A recent project that makes us very proud is 10 Sullivan, which we worked through our New York office, and is located in SoHo.

As The New York Times writes in an article where one of our 3D renderings is featured, “the tower at 10 Sullivan Street, which will be 16 stories and one of the tallest buildings in SoHo, has a shape like a boat and also vaguely resembles the Flatiron Building, thanks to the configuration of its building lot: a long, thin triangle.”

The lot, which was home to a gas station and carwash, was created when the Avenue of the Americas was extended at an angle across gridlike streets in the 1920s.

Its $45 million penthouse is being touted as the neighborhood’s swankiest residence, with curved glass windows and a quirky triangular shape, according to The Daily News.

The spectacular, three-floor home will also have a private pool, rooftop lounge and ceiling heights up to 23 feet.

The 8,360-square-foot penthouse is one of 19 homes at 10 Sullivan , where prices start at $2.97 million and homes have Danish oak floors, radiant-heated flooring, motorized shades and walnut kitchens. The project is slated for completion in 2015.

Our New York office

Located in trendy TriBeCa, our New York office is a really important piece of ArX Solutions structure.

With this magnificent location we not only are in the epicenter of the world, but we have the opportunity to serve better our New York based clients.

It doesn’t matter if their projects are in New York, Miami or in another part of the world, our office and Nicolas Michael, our principal in New York, are there available to give our clients the personalized service they deserve.

Our year-end getaway

It’s time to say goodbye to 2014 and welcome the new year, and before that it is our tradition to do something fun.

This time we went to the Club Med for a weekend getaway, where we had a great time (you just have to give a look to our pictures to notice that).

Doing these kind of activities is not only a great way to reward ourselves for the hard work we did during 12 months, but to know better each other and enhance the great team spirit that help us deliver our clients the good work we produce.

We are very grateful to have the job we have, the clients we have and the year we just had.

Why Miami?

Why Miami and not New York or London? We decided to place our headquarters in Miami for a number of reasons. We will tell you which they are:

  1. It is one of the top markets for luxury homes in the world: In the 2014 luxury report (you can download it here), Christie’s International Real Estate identifies Miami as one of the top markets for luxury homes in the world, rubbing shoulders with London, New York and Hong Kong.
  2. It is not anymore considered just a resort-market or vacation spot for a second home: According to Curbed, Miami’s urban market is now leading the way in luxury, amenities, and naturally, pricing. Projects such as Echo Brickell (our clients) with an average price of $1,869,472.00, and One Thousand Museum, with an average Price: $6,937,775.00 are just the beginning.
  3. We don’t have to pay  State Tax: This not so small perk will continue to make Miami an ideal place for the wealthy, which reflects also in the Real Estate boom.
  4. Its lifestyle: According to this article published in Ocean Drive, “the ranks of the world’s ultrawealthy have decided to admit Miami to the list of their favorite cities, boosting it to number seven—ahead of Paris and Dubai—in this year’s annual survey by Knight Frank, a London real estate consulting firm, up from eighth place in 2013. (London and New York constantly jostle for first and second position; Miami is the only other US city to make this year’s list.) It’s the quality of life that this elite group really loves, ranking Miami fourth on that criterion.”
  5. Its location: For us is simple, having an office in New York and another in Buenos Aires, Miami is the right spot to have our hub from where we connect to the rest of the world.
  6. Our Clients: Many of them are based here, and if not, for the reasons above mentioned have projects here. And even if they are out-of-town, who doesn’t want to spend a couple of days working in sunny Miami? Yes our offices are your offices, come and work with us here.
  7. We just love it!:  Is there something not to love about Miami? We just haven’t found it.

ArXperience in New York City

We recently presented in New York our newest product: ArXperience 3D.

It was really exciting to see the great acceptance that it had among the specialized press and some of our clients that came to experience it.

We received our guests in New York City’s Paramount Hotel so they could experience this new technology that we are sure will revolutionize the way real estate is sold.

With the Oculus Rift  our clients will be able to take their prospects on a virtual tour to the home of their dreams even before it exists.

ArXperience 3D in The Real Deal

Recently we were in one of the most important events for the real estate industry in South Florida: The Real Deal’s South Florida Forum and Showcase.

We had the opportunity to mingle with friends and clients, as well as launch,  in front of more than 4,000 real estate enthusiasts who flocked to the beautiful Moore Building in Miami’s Design District, our latest and most avant-garde product: ArXperience 3D.

This Oculus Rift  simulation was designed specially to take our clients’ prospects into their new and luxurious home even before it exists.

Can’t your prospects  picture how spacious their living room is going to be? Or how amazing is the view of their new penthouse will be?

No problem! With ArXperience your prospects will be able to virtually walk into their new home, see the amazing details of the kitchen or have a glimpse of how many shoes are going to fit in their walk-in closet.

We presented ArXperience among major developers like PMG, Rilea, Trump Group,  Fortune International Group, Key International, the Related Group and Terra Group and brokerages including ISG, Fortune Realty, Douglas Elliman, Cervera Real Estate, One Sotheby’s International Realty, One World Properties and Opulence International Realty.

Our booth was on the first of the four floors of the historic venue, which includes “Elastika”, an amazing installation created by starchitect Zaha Hadid in its atrium.Want to have the ArXperience first hand?
